    Dr Peter Gross is working at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Sheffield. His PhD project at the University of Augsburg (Germany) focussed on synthesis and characterisation of solid-state materials for optical applications. Subsequently, he worked on the Faraday Institution’s NEXGENNa project developing both new anode and cathode materials for sodium ion battery applications. His research for FutureCat studies disordered rock salts as future cathode materials for lithium ion batteries.
