My background is in laboratory technical support with Sheffield’s Chemical and Biological Engineering department where I joined 5 years ago as a trainee technician. Since then I’ve spent most of my time supporting lab-based research as the technical contact for 4 labs covering a range of areas from batteries to biofuels. My work with FutureCat is focussed on curating the materials library, ongoing testing of new materials and providing hands-on support in our laboratories at Sheffield.
