The 2023 National Battery Day undergraduate attraction events was held on:
17th February 2023
Online Event – hosted by Faraday Institution
Speakers discussed their battery career journey, followed by a panel discussion and Q&A. This event was led by the Faraday Student Committee and aimed at STEM undergraduates.

- Kieran O’Regan – Co-founder and COO at About:Energy, 1st cohort of Faraday Institution PhD researchers,
- Elizabeth Driscoll – Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham on the Faraday Institution’s ReLiB project on battery recycling.
- Aaron Wade – 1st cohort of Faraday Institution PhD researchers, Research Analyst (Energy storage) at Exawatt, Project Director at Battery Pub (Volta Foundation).

On Friday 18th February Faraday Institution PhD researchers were talking about their career journey and their research, which was followed by a discussion and Q&A.

FutureCat ran our own online event on the same day featuring FutureCat researchers: Dr Beth Johnston, Dr Kirstie McCombie, Dr Bonan Zhu and Dr Gabriel Perez presented on their own research to find the next generation cathode batteries.
