In May 2019 Dr Chris Thomas started work at Sheffield on Faraday institution projects. First on SOLBAT working on solid thiophosphate electrolytes before moving onto the NEXGENNA project working on sodium phosphate and fluoride cathodes. Chris started with working with FutureCat in October 2023 investigating oxalate and other complex anions for lithium cathodes.
