Malene Fumany has a degree in Chemical Engineering from Bradford University and a master in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College. Prior to joining WMG, Malene worked as Research Engineer contractor at Nissan Technical Centre Europe in Bedford within the battery research team for almost two years.
Malene joined WMG last year June as a project engineer within the battery recycling team looking at lithium recovery and hydrometallurgical process.
From April 2024, Malene is now part of FutureCat under Prof Louis Piper’s management where she will be part of the team working alongside Beth Johnston and Ashok Menon on LNO synthesis.
