Dr. Romain Wernert is a postdoctoral research associate in the Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory at the University of Oxford. During his PhD at the University of Bordeaux, France, he developed expertise in polyanionic compounds and in the characterisation of redox mechanisms occurring during electrochemical cycling with various structural and spectroscopic techniques. Within the FutureCat project he aims at synthetizing new positive electrode materials based on abundant transition metals.
