Dr Zachary Parr is a PDRA in the Bronstein lab at Cambridge, having gained a PhD in organic chemistry at Queen Mary University London focussed on organic bioelectronics for sensing. pursued a subsequent postdoc in organic electronics followed by a year working in industry on solid state lasers amplifiers. His research interest focus around functional organic optoelectronic materials and in particular organic mixed ionic electronic conductors and their interactions. He is working on synthesising organic polymer coatings for Li-ion cathodes to prevent cathode degradation.
